Introducing 2009′s Most Influential Women.
You nominated, you voted, you commented …. and now, these are the women you’ve chosen to as The Most Influential Women to follow in the year 2009. The women you look up to. The women you’d want your daughters to follow. The women that will change the world with unselfish acts, passionate lives, and the God-given gift to help others.
20 women were nominated. 993 votes were cast and nearly 150 comments posted on their behalf. In order to really get an understanding of how each nominee had impacted the lives of their friends, family and peers, we not only held a poll but we asked readers to post comments about each nominee so that we could get a better idea of their passion for life. The comments weighed very heavy in the voting as did the judges ratings and the nominee’s own input.
So, without further delay, here are the Most Influential Women of ’09 starting from 10 and going to #1 (of course being the top notch):
10. Terri Camp
5. Lisa Johnson
4. Lea Schizas
3.

was on the news today. She (and her calendar) were featured on Channel 7 News for the work she did on the 2009 Calendar of Love for The Women’s Crisis Center.
Thanks so much,
